We were commissioned by Cristobal Jiménez sj to design a couple of chapels in the center of the amazing city of Salamanca, Spain. We produced two different versions of the same functional understanding of what can work nowadays in terms of Sacred Spaces.

The two versions work together as a whole. A light one, built only with white clothing and a dark one built out of the singular local stone. Both are intended to go back into a brutal approach to the Mystery avoiding visual or intellectual distractions. For both, the focus is in experiencing that the Presence is real.
