New school project

Renovation project for a former seminary, converting it into a primary and secondary school.

The old seminary of Pamplona lost its original *raison d'être* beginning in the 1970s.

This Pamplona landmark—known simply as the Seminary Building—is now seeking a new purpose. This quest follows the drastic changes that swept through the Catholic Church—changes whose manifestations began to gain visibility almost immediately after the conclusion of the Second Vatican Council in 1965. By 1970, the old seminary had been left virtually empty of postulants.

In 2010, we were commissioned to study the transformation of the existing building into a primary and secondary school, in compliance with the requirements of the Department of Education. To this end, we developed a comprehensive design project for new classrooms and facilities located right in the heart of the city.
