A double-height space was successfully created on the ground floor through the use of a V-shaped timber space truss that incorporates existing beams. The materials employed represent a combination of original solid timbers from the house and new wood, laminated timber, OSB panels, polished concrete flooring, original ashlar masonry, and local timber joinery.
