The lack of natural light and ventilation affected the whole project, since we could only count on two sources of indirect light, reflected by a small interior courtyard walls and the facade of the building in front, situated in a very narrow street of Pamplona, which in spite of its real width was named: calle Mayor (Major street).
We designed and built a thin and light structure which holds this single glass room, above the rest of the home. A continuous space results out of this strategy, leaving the ground floor free of walls and completely opened to let air and light run freely and comunicate this home both sides. Budget containment guided the whole project and construction process to better serve a very young couple.
